Education - Success or Failure?
Publication date: 2002-04-24

Are Blair's Education Policies a Success?.

Tony Blair says that his education policies have been successful.

I do not know what are his criteria of success.

But to a non‐politician success is judged by the quality of the final product, not by the amount of money spent, or number of people employed.

If Blair's education policies have been successful, then why it has become necessary to employ police on children's playgrounds?

Why crime among children has reached record levels?

Why drugs and alcohol abuse among children and young people?

Why sexually transmitted diseases among children and young people?

Why do women vigilante (the Mums' Army) have to patrol the streets?

Is this not a total failure of the state education system?
